Fall 2011 Sun Interference Starts Soon
Akron, Ohio – September 20, 2011 Fall and the autumnal equinox signal for many the coming cold and winter holidays, but for satellite Internet customers, it also means a few minutes of “sun fade” over several days. These sun fade interruptions occur because the sun is directly aligned with the satellite and the receive antenna. The noise and radiation from the sun overpower the signals coming from the satellite creating interruptions.
