The VNO would have one or more iDirect line cards on the VSAT System’s hub chassis and would lease bandwidth on G 28 or T 14 either through VSAT Systems. The VNO has to allocate bandwidth to end users, manage and monitor the network. Separate line cards ensure that traffic on your networks are isolated from other network traffic. Our network engineers are there to guide you through the process of setting up and managing the network.
You are required to bill and service your customers, provide level one (Tier I) technical support along with email, web hosting and other services. VSAT Systems provides the physical infrastructure to operate the network and Tier II advanced technical and engineering support.
To better serve our VNOs, we have a train-the-trainer program to provide training in three separate areas - product training, technical support training and installation training. If you wish to manage your own installations, FCC-required installer certifications are issued to VSAT Systems installation training graduates. The VNO is responsible for the FCC Compliance VSAT terminal installations for its customers along with all other governmental compliance/licensing. Technical support, product and installation training, and certification are provided on a scheduled basis in Akron, Ohio. Other training venues can be negotiated.
