When it comes to business continuity our Internet backup via satellite services will keep your network up. With our disaster recovery system, you can back up only critical sites or your entire network.

Here’s how it works. You select a performance package. We get the equipment installed and tested. We help you configure either a manual or automatic failover routine. The system lies dormant (except for testing performed by customer) until needed. When an outage occurs, service is instantly provided over the VSAT Systems broadband satellite Internet network until the primary connection is restored.

In order to backup an entire network, each site would be backed up as described above, and in addition a backhaul from our satellite hub to your data center would be established. This backhaul can be a dedicated leased line from a carrier whose network is independent from that of the primary carrier, or a satellite backhaul can be used (keeping the entire network above the terrestrial infrastructure).

Having a VSAT Systems broadband satellite connection as a backup will give you, your management, shareholders and customers peace of mind. Combined with a backup generator, our system will keep critical systems running no matter what.

Our special service plans allow you to pay a low monthly charge for having your locations on the VSAT Systems hot-standby service. When the backup connection is used, usage based charges apply.

Backup VSAT Terms
*All VSAT-Systems LLC service plans are managed on shared platforms unless otherwise noted. End users can expect to be able to receive over 90% of the stated speed at least 90% of the time. ** Backup throughput limit = 100MB per month. Backup rate applies while user remains within the throughput limit of 100MB per month. If usage exceeds 100MB during any one billing cycle additional throughput cost is $.20 per MB.
