High efficiency TCP acceleration and accelerated TCP handshake enhances performance by mitigating the effects that satellite latency typically has on TCP/IP traffic.

Based upon industry leading iDirect technology, our systems provide bi-directional broadband connectivity easily and efficiently using standard TCP/IP protocols.

VSAT Systems service supports TCP/IP applications with hardware acceleration performed on its satellite gateway units and equipment at the customer’s remote site. Acceleration makes multi-megabit speeds possible over satellite and allows the TCP/IP protoocol to function without regard to the latency in the connection.
