When it comes to the delivery end of our VSAT networks, we believe in our dishes. And here's why:
— superior surface accuracy. The 1.2, 1.5, and 1.8 meter reflectors are precision, single-piece reflectors produced through precision-draw dies, and they are randomly checked for R.M.S. accuracy with dial indicator check fixtures. They are designed to uniformly expand and contract with temperature changes.
— superior corrosion resistance. All reflector and mount parts are produced from dual-sided galvanized steel. Reflector and mount parts are sealed and powder coated with U.V. inhibited polyester-based finishes that are baked onto the metal. Mounting hardware is dactrotized (a special coating) and salt spray tested.
— superior survivability. The dishes have been wind-tunnel tested by Aeronautical Research Laboratories. Antenna mounts are designed to withstand wind forces in excess of 100 mph. This is one reason Patriot antennas are designed with a reinforced outer rim.
We could mention some other highlights — all mounting holes are die pierced for uniform accuracy, the feed boom assemblies being matched for either DBS or linear LNBF applications — but we suspect you see the point. At every point in our VSAT networks, we try to use the best equipment available for the best price . And these dishes fit the bill.
