VSAT Systems customers demand and get the highest speeds, the most reliable performance and the most robust, business-grade technology. There is a good reason for this. Unlike the many satellite providers who came to Internet Processing (IP) from television broadcast work, we have always dedicated ourselves exclusively to IP. We know TCP/IP. Spoofing and other techniques for accelerating TCP over satellite are second nature.
You should also know that VSAT Systems is one of the few companies in the VSAT satellite communications industry to completely own and control its own teleport and NOC. Both are located at our facility in Akron, Ohio.
VSAT Systems has three teleport dishes. One points toward G-28. One points toward T11N. And, for the sake of redundancy, the third can be quickly pointed to either. Together, G-28 and T11N cover a wide footprint that brings reliable broadband Internet to end-users throughout North and Central America. Learn more.
Our NOC is built around a state-of-the-art, temperature-controlled data center equipped with the most advanced NMS servers, dedicated space segment line cards, routers, core switches, protocol processors and hub equipment. The VSAT Systems data center protects your data with 24/7 building security, motion-detecting cameras and a military-spec biometric ID system. And in the event you or your customers require integrated business solutions such as VPN, this level of protection also makes our NOC an ideal co-location site.
All of this technology is backed up by our experienced engineering team who manage and maintain the equipment. Result: you are free to focus on your customers instead of troubleshooting the network. Learn more.
Our teleport and NOC have multiple levels of built-in redundancy. If a dish fails or requires maintenance, the spare antenna can recover the connection seamlessly. If the power is interrupted, a UPS automatically fills the gap. And if one T1 connection to the public Internet is severed, a second, geographically independent T1 stands ready. This kind redundancy is repeated throughout our NOC. Anywhere environmental conditions, power failures or technical issues can disrupt connectivity, VSAT Systems has lined up multiple redundant components to keep you and your customers online.
